The Duke of Edinburgh yesterday passed his patronage of the Royal Air Force cadets to The Duchess of Cambridge.
During an audience at Buckingham Palace, The Duke relinquished the role as Air Commodore-in-Chief, bringing an end to his 63 year patronage.
The Duchess becomes Honorary Air Commandant of AirCadets.
